Wal-Mart is not mySpace

Finally having a chance to get to this, I present you the following news story…

Wal-Mart Tries be Be MySpace. Seriously

It’s about Wal-Mart’s new little social site and the things it doesn’t accomplish. It’s actually pretty boring I thought, but it present me with something to rant about…

“But it won’t change the shopping habits of Molly Morgan, 14, who goes to Wal-Mart only when her mom does to buy groceries and spends her monthly $150 clothing budget at Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister and Nordstrom.”

Answer me this: Why does any 14-year-old kid need $150 each and everything month for clothes? You know that kid is probably pocketing the money for something other than clothing. If not, then that kid could use some re-education.

Please, readers, don’t tell me you have a $150/month clothing budget. PLEASE.
