Super happy caption contest!

Come up with a knee-slapping hilarious caption to go with this picture. And let’s keep it clean. The Buzz doesn’t do blue material. Leave your caption in the comments section. (Don’t fret if it doesn’t pop up right away; we have to approve the comments so no dirty words get through. The Buzz is all about the children). Then peruse the other captions and laugh until it hurts. Happy holidays from your friends at The Buzz.

This is where the new stuff is…

In order to keep our caption contest at the top, we’ll be adding all new posts to this one entry for awhile. How are you going to know it’s new? Keep on checking…

Whitney Houston is auctioning off some stuff. Personally, I like this.

Some artsy types want to float a banana over Texas.

The Gourds and Los Lonely Boys on Austin City Limits Although the rest of the world gets to see it on Saturday, we KERA viewers have to wait until Thursday, Dec. 28. 10 p.m.

Transformers trailer. ‘Nuff said.

He’s got a special purpose. World’s tallest man uses long arms to save dolphins. If you find this sort of odd serendipity heartwarming, you may enjoy this book.

Still Christmas shopping for that special Star Wars fan in your life? You could foot the bill for a very special vacation.

You mean Mariah Carey isn’t a porn star?

Stuff to do On Saturday, Dec. 9, MLS soccer star Clint Demspey and local rapper XO will perform songs off their new mixtape at the Sports Shack in Nacogdoches. On Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the very same Sports Shack, Bullet for Betty, David and Jeromy and Adam Lamar will help you blow off finals. Peace.

The Wild World of Wii Apparently lots of people with these crazy new video game consoles that you control by flailing around are breaking things with disturbing regularity. UPDATE! Nintendo is replacing the straps on those little projectiles they call controllers. Personally, I miss the good old Atari — One stick, one button, hours of fun, no chance of accidentally throwing the controller at the TV. I may have thrown a few on purpose, but dang it, Jungle Hunt was hard.
