A Buzz Girl’s weekend hot spot
![]() | The greatest thing about East Texas is that there is always something going on. It may not be close, as many people argue that East Texas begins as far north as Paris and ends as far south as Beaumont — a distance of 295 miles. But, there is always something happening in the region, it’s just a matter of getting to it. Take for instance tomorrow night. Adam Miller, a legendary folksinger, storyteller and autoharp virtuoso will be performing at 8 p.m. at the Camp Street Cafe & Store in Crockett. Miller’s performance will include a collection of regional folksongs that were collected in Houston County (where Crockett is) during the 1930s. It’s almost like a musical history lesson of the area. So, go ahead — take a drive. |
