SXSW lists released
Earlier this week the South by Southwest festival released the names of 114 feature films that will be at the annual event’s film festival and the 1,500 artists that will be performing at the music festival. Here are some of the people we’ll be looking for. James Petralli of White Denim, who you may remember from jam sessions at Rita’s back in the day. Rolling Stone recently named White Denim as a breaking artist to look for, and from hearing a sample of their music, we can see why. Also, we’re not going to want miss the world premiere of “Cook County.” The film is about an abused, alienated teenager who returns to his home to discover a household of crystal meth addicts, and it is set right here in the PIney Woods of East Texas. Can’t wait.
