Countdown to V-day
For all the men who haven’t made their Valentine’s Day plans, you might want to check this out. The Texas State Railroad is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner Train, complete with all the sappy sentiments your significant other could imagine. The romantic evening begins at 7 p.m., with the train departing from the Rusk station. During the two-and-a-half hour train ride, cozy couples will enjoy a candlelight dinner accompanied by romantic music. Alcohol is not provided, but couples can bring one bottle of wine onto the train. Dinner ticket prices are $75 per person, but, if that is a little too steep for your pocket, then you can forgo the dinner and just take the romantic train ride for $34 per person.
