Waxing

This past weekend, I tried something new — at-home waxing. I often opt for the professional waxing, and occasionally threading of my eyebrows, but in an attempt to save some cash, I decided to try it on my own. And let me tell you, it was a catastrophe, to say the least. When I was reading the side of the box, it seemed pretty simple. Heat the wax in the microwave, put it on and pull it off. What went wrong, you ask? Everything. First off, the wax wouln’t heat up in the microwave. Then, once it got hot enough and actually looked like the guey mess it was supposed to, the spatula got stuck to the bottom of the jar. Then, I finally got the spatula free from the wax, and proceeded to place it on my eyebrows. The kit I purchased, apparently did not come with any pieces of cloth, and instead, instructed me to pull the wax off by itself. You can imagine how that went. Needless to say, after this experience, it is obvious that I should leave the sticky stuff to the professionals
